To kick off the celebrations, Cadbury released new golden versions of the Creme Egg for consumers to find in stores, giving them the chance to win up to £5,000. 200 Golden Cadbury Creme Eggs were hidden in stores nationwide, masquerading as classic Creme Eggs.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, Cadbury also teamed up with Goose Island brewery to launch a limited-edition golden 'Goo-Beer-Lee' cream stout. The beer is blended with malted barley, oats, wheat, and milk sugar to mirror the creamy texture of the Creme Egg, and is brewed with cacao nibs and vanilla beans to mimic the iconic chocolate egg's flavours.
