The Bearded Monk

The brewery was also known for its community involvement, donating beer kegs to charity events and sponsoring festivals like Day of the Dead, Jazz Fest, and Thin Line Film Fest. In Smith's own words, he wanted to "give as much back to Denton as we get by living and working in this great city".

Unfortunately, Audacity Brew House closed its doors permanently in November 2017 due to a combination of stagnant taproom sales and disagreements between investors. In the time it was open, it achieved a rating of 4.5 stars and was a beloved part of Denton's craft beer scene.
