• A large funnel
• 3/4 inch PVC ball valve (threaded)
• 3/4 inch x 3-inch PVC nipple (male to male threaded)
• 3/4 inch Barb x 3/4-inch MPT poly adapter (male threaded)
• Two 1 1/4 inch hose clamps
• A flat-head screwdriver

Once you've gathered your parts, follow these steps:

• Slip the vinyl tubing onto the bottom spout of your large funnel. If the spout is long, cut it down to about 1 inch to reduce beer foam.
• Take one of the hose clamps and slip it where it fits around the tubing on the funnel’s spout. Then, tighten the clamp with your flat-head screwdriver.
• Take the 3/4 inch PVC ball valve and screw the 3/4 inch x 3-inch PVC nipple onto one side.
• Screw the 3/4 inch Barb x 3/4-inch MPT poly adapter into the other side of the PVC ball valve.
