No lace. Kind of grainy, sweet, with lots of cereal. Not much hop character, except a light earthiness. Of coarse the spices and body are gone but there [sic] supposedly orange peel in this though I can't tell. Just a limp, bland red ale that has no real character. This is a huge disappointment, and a pale imitation of what it once was pre AB-InBev. That's not me just complaining, it went from an 8% ABV Winter Warmer that was really good in its own right, and that could also be used as a base for some barrel-aged beers.
